Interoperability ProfileInteroperability ProfileIn short: An interoperability profile is the technical unit of conformance declaration used by a system to claim conformance to the EHDS. An interoperability profile specifies a combination of a system role (producer, consumer, exchanger), one or more EEHRxF logical data models, and the exchange methodology for the data (e.g. document or resource based exchanges). Systems claim conformance to one or more interoperability profiles. There are three main categories of interoperability profiles:
Systems that claim conformance to broadly-scoped interoperability profiles may also claim conformance to one or more of the narrowly-scoped interoperability profiles which (in terms of data / logical models) form part of the broadly-scoped interoperability profile.
